The foregoing information is from Sally Wigent's large size quarto Family Bible and other sources. The Bible is owned by Mr. Fred A Molby and has the records of births, deaths, and marriages of Chester and Sally and their own children. The records were made by several writers, and some are water stained. The copies made by others at earlier times have been compared with the Bible and dates given here are believed correct.
The data about the "in-laws" was gathered from individuals, from cemetery, census records, and grave-stones.
The Bible was published by B. Waugh and T. Mason, for the Methodist Episcopal Church, at the Conference Office, 200 Mulberry St., New York, 1833. It has been in the keeping of Lydia, of Polly, of Polly's daughters, of her grandson, Glenn Whitbeck, of Lansing, Mich., and of Fred A Molby. Bernard D. Foot, great-grandson of Polly, has Sally's Bible (1967) at Dryden, Lapeer County, Michigan.
